- Melinda McLaren, Owner/Stylist

Melinda McLaren, Owner & Stylist Graduating at the top of her peers from the Career School of Hair and Aesthetics in Oshawa. Certified in Hair, Aesthetics, Salon Management and Business Marketing. After graduating she pursued her career in North Bay where she was happy to join a team which worked with her to make her into the stylist and owner that she is today. After moving from North Bay to Guelph she opened Liquid Salon & Spa. With determination and her marketing expertise, she has set the pace for Liquid’s success. Whether it is answering the telephones, styling the latest trend, discovering new ways to colour or her ability to multitask a business and family, Melinda will make her chair feel comfortable and welcoming to you. Melinda has been a hairstylist now for 16 years. She lives in Guelph, ON with her fiancé Michael and their children Michael JR., 16, Ben 9, and their 2 year old twins Tristan and Talise. She has a Keeshond named Keida and a cat named Angel.

- Jason Osborne/Stylist

Jason Osborne, Stylist Jason is our newest addition to our fantastic team. With having over 12 years of experience, his comedic personality will definitely charm your hearts. He has devoted much of his skills to many causes. He has done 13 cut-a-thon's including those for Breast Cancer, the Tsunami Flood and a local baseball team. He thrives on keeping up to date with the latest trends and hair fashions by attending educational seminars including Matrix, Logics and formal dress work. He welcomes new and existing guests to his chair and offers complimentary consultations on bookings.

- Niki/Hairstylist

Niki, Stylist Niki pursued her career in hairstyling because of a love and passion for detail, precision and the dedication to be one of the top stylists in Guelph. In addition to her hairstyling degree, Niki attended the Conestoga College for Business Accounting and Management, giving her an understanding on how a business should be ran and she clearly uses her knowledge to build on her clientele. Being one of the lead stylists today, Niki can assure you that her ten years training and learning to be such, you will receive nothing but a positive experience as long as she is behind your chair. Niki tends to build her dedication to her clientele based on her expertise in styling, advanced colour and highlighting techniques and her gift of listening to her clients wants and needs. With constant upgrading and new education you can feel confidant and welcome in her chair. She is welcoming her current clientele to our new location and offering new clientele to experience what she can create with a complimentary consultation with booking.

- Meaghan/Aesthetician

Her gentle approach will leave you feeling relaxed, revived and beautiful! Graduated from Elegance School of Aesthetics, Meaghan has been trained in the industries newest trends and techniques, with the highest standards. She loves meeting new people and is very personable. She is passionate about her job and dedicates herself to offering her clients not only amazing treatments, but a good knowledge base for caring for the skin and nails at home. Meaghan recently moved to Guelph with her Fiance, Ryan. She has a cat named Sonjia, and likes to spend her spare time snuggling up on the couch, or playing with their new pup, Abby.

- Jenny/Salon Co Coordinator

Jenny, Salon Co Coordinator Jenny will happily tell everyone her story of how she became one of Liquid’s team members! After walking through the doors to inquire about a job position, she was whisked away to a meeting room and after a small chat and hand shake with Melinda, her spot was positioned at the front desk to make chaos look like a dance. Co- coordinating client’s appointments, preparing for services and taking the tasks that is handed down to her, Jenny smiles from the start of the day to the end of the day. Her dedication to Liquid goes beyond that. Jenny is currently enrolled the The Canadian college of Massage and hydrotherapy where she is seeking her certification of Registered Massage Therapy.
